KHANEWAL: At least 21 passengers sustained injuries when two bogies of Pakistan Express train derailed near Makhdoompur Railway Station here on Monday.
The Karachi-bound train packed with passengers was coming from Rawalpindi.
The sources informed that the accident was result of technical fault related to change of track, however, investigation is in progress to ascertain the actual reason.
Rescue teams have shifted the shifted the injured persons nearby hospitals.
