NEW DELHI: Pakistan High Commissioner in New Delhi Abdul Basit sent 'Eidi' for Pakistanis imprisoned in India.
A spokesman of the High Commission in a statement in New Delhi said High Commission is making endeavours for early release of Pakistani prisoners from Indian jails and their repatriation to Pakistan.
A couple of days back, India and Pakistan have exchanged the lists of prisoners from each country locked up in their respective jails.
The list of Paksitanis prisoners that India handed over Pakistan contained 505 names, of which 372 are civilians and 133 fishermen from Pakistan.
