Balochistan govt bans sale of toy guns
QUETTA: The Government of Balochistan has under Section 144 banned sale of toy guns for a month. A **tification of the Home Department said that there is a complete ban on sale and purchase of laser guns and toy guns under Section 144 in Quetta.
Boy electocuted in Kahna

LAHORE: A nine-year-old boy was electrocuted in Kahna on Sunday. The victim was identified as Ahsan of Wara Stop. It was reported that the boy accidentally touched an electric water pump, as a result he received serious shocks. He was taken to a local hospital where he was pro**unced dead. Police handed over the body to the family after completing legal formalities.

LAHORE: Punjab Highway Patrol (PHP) claimed to have arrested 50 criminals, including proclaimed offenders (POs) and court absconders. The arrested proclaimed offenders were identified as Abdulsattar, Kareem Ullah, M Imran, Ghlam Hussain, M Kareem, Asamtullah, Abdulsattar, Shahnawaz, Jafar, M Riaz, Chand, Aamir, Papi, Allah Wadiya, Munair Shahzad, Tariq Mahmood, M Aslam, Amir Abdullah, Mehmoob Ahmad, Khuda Baksh, Mubarak Ali, Ansir, Ibrar Naeem, Ghulam Muhammad and others.
Two PDA officials suspended

PESHAWAR: Two senior employees of the Peshawar Development Authority (PDA) have been suspended for involvement in serious irregularities and for carelessness in dispensing official responsibilities.A PDA statement said director of the Building Control Authority Khan Afzal Afridi and deputy director Abdul Bais have been suspended and charge-sheeted. They were also charged with showing indifferences to the orders of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister for removal of the extra billboards installed on the busy roads in Peshawar.The statement said a two-member inquiry committee would present its reports in 10 days against the suspended officials.

KARACHI: The Pakistan Rangers Sindh on Sunday said that government departments should ensure to close the ******s of political and military organisations. According to a press release of the Pakistan Rangers Sindh, it was decided in the meeting of the Apex Committee that ** government department should have the ****** of any political party otherwise strict action will be taken against those responsible.
Three looted at gunpoint
RAWALPINDI: Three people have been looted at gunpoint in separate incidents on Sunday within the jurisdiction of New Town police. Shahid lodged a complaint with the local police that he, along with Muhammad Amir, was returning home from a local market when three armed persons intercepted them at gunpoint and deprived them of Rs15,000, a cell phone and other valuables. Suleman Manzoor lodged a complaint with the local police that he was passing through a street when four motorcyclists showed up and made him hostage at gunpoint and deprived him of Rs20 000, a cell phone, documents and other valuables. The police have registered cases and started investigations.
PESHAWAR: Gover**r Iqbal Zafar Jhagra on Sunday expressed grief over the loss of precious lives in the flash floods in Ursoon village of Chitral. He asked the National Disaster Management Authority and other rescue and relief agencies to speed up the rescue and relief activities. The gover**r ordered the departments to take measures in the affected area. He directed the authorities concerned to ensure the safe recovery of missing people and accelerate the relief work.
