Asks people to foil all sit-in attempts; opens hospital in Raiwind, botanical garden, butterfly house at Jallo Park



LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said on Sunday that their rivals have come out of their hideouts and they are pained because a corruption-free culture is being promoted. He said the people had **t forgotten about the Surrey Palace yet, and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari would have to flee abroad and live with his father in London or Dubai if even a single corruption case was reopened against his family.

The chief minister was speaking to the people after inaugurating a 60-bed modern hospital in Raiwind and a butterfly house at the Jallo Park here on Sunday.He said those who kept the nation undeveloped for 15 long years were threatening to do the politics of agitation after Eid. Addressing the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto, he said that the nation had **t forgotten about the Surrey Palace yet.

He mocked the PPP by stating that accountability was being demanded by those who themselves were the most corrupt people. He said there were politicians who had stashed billions of dollars in Swiss bank accounts. He said those who looted the nation with both hands for long were **w talking of accountability and launching a campaign against corruption.

Shahbaz Sharif said that people still remember the sit-ins of 2014 when the Chinese president had cancelled his Pakistan visit and the country had to face losses of billions of rupees. He asked the people to foil all attempts of those who wanted to stage sit-ins again.

He also addressed the hospital staff and ordered that the hospital should be run in the best manner, and warned that it could be handed over to any **n-governmental organisation (NGO) if **t managed well.

Shahbaz said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan was a popular leader, and he should be careful before issuing statements. He said he wrongly implicated Maryam Nawaz Sharif in a case of harassment of his sister, and later he had to face embarrassment.

Shahbaz Sharif later also inaugurated a botanical garden and a butterfly house at the Jallo Park. He hoped that people from all across Pakistan would come to visit the botanical garden and the butterfly house and enjoy themselves. He an**unced one-month salary as bonus for the employees of the garden and wished them a happy Eid.

The chief minister expressed his sorrow over the loss of lives in the Chitral flash floods.Shahbaz said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif would return to the country soon.
