PESHAWAR: Protest rallies were staged in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in connection with Al-Quds Day to condemn Israeli atrocities against Muslims in Palestine.

In the provincial capital, the Aalmi Muttahida Ulema Mashaikh Council Pakistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chapter, staged a protest against the US and Israel for their injustices against in**cent Muslims.

Led by Maulana Shoaib, the protesters set ablaze the Israeli flags and blocked the main road for traffic. The infuriated protesters chanted slogans against US and Israel and expressed solidarity with the Muslims and vowed to render every sacrifice.

The speakers criticised the US and Israel for their anti-Muslim and anti-Islam policies and urged the Muslim Ummah to forge unity among their ranks to foil the nefarious designs of enemies.

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Activists of the Imamia Students Organisation (ISO) took out protest rallies hereon Friday to condemn the illegal occupation of Palestine by Israel.

The protesters chanted slogans against Israel and the United States for inflicting atrocities on in**cent Muslims.

Speaking on the occasion to mark the annual Al-Quds Day, the speakers called for the Muslim unity. They lamented that the world powers had come together against Syria but had turned a blind eye towards the woes of Palestinians.

The speakers also condemned the rising target killing incidents in Dera Ismail Khan.
