ISLAMABAD: PML-Q President and former prime minister Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain on Friday urged for bringing a new law that in future any member of parliament should **t be allowed to pass comments against the integrity or solidarity of the motherland.

“If anyone does such thing he should be de-seated and banned from taking part in the active politics for at least 10 years. If we politicians can pass the law for our own benefit within fortnight, why can’t this can be done with the same spirit, and we should **t waste time to hear any anti-state comments in future," he said in a response to the statement of senior parliamentarian Mehmood Khan Achackzai. Shujaat said it was very sad to read Achakzai's statement regarding on KP as part of Afghanistan if the Afghan refugees were forced to leave Pakistan.

He said this to hear from such a senior politician who is being benefited, along with his siblings, by occupying key posts in the present Balochistan government. "You will never find a single country from east to west which has granted this much of freedom as we do to talk against our own country under the hijab of democracy," he added.

Regarding the Afghan refugees, he said Pakistan is the only country in this part of the world which became host of nearly four million refugees after the Russian occupation of Afghanistan in 1979 which were treated like brothers.

He said at present nearly one million are still in Pakistan, and if Achakzai is so worried he should plead their case with the Afghan government. "Never forget Pakistan has paid a heavy price while hosting our Afghan brothers and sisters," he added. Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain said till today, we couldn't have got hold of law and order situation, which is getting worse by every passing day, and, only **w we can see a ray of hope after successful Zarb-e-Azb operation launched by our armed forces under the gallant leadership of General Raheel Sharif.

"I think this is the ideal time for repatriation of the remaining refugees as soon as possible. Both the governments should handle this issue amicably," he added.

He said the statement of Mehmood Khan Achakzai should compelled both the upper and lower Houses immediately and come along with new law that in future any member of parliament or Senate should **t be allowed to pass comments against integrity or solidarity of motherland, and if he does such should be de-seated and banned from taking part in active politics for at least 10 years.
