AC criticised for **n-approval of schemes

MANSEHRA: Tehsil councillors of Mansehra have criticised assistant commissioner during his presence in the council for **t giving administrative approval of over 800 schemes.But the official heard patiently whatever was asked by councillors and said he was representative of the government and supposed to ensure proper utilisation of public money.

Tehsil Nazim Khurram Khan had summoned Assistant Commissioner Naveed Ahmad in the council meeting to present his point of view about why schemes approved by the tehsil council were **t being approved by him for execution.

Some of councillors harshly treated the official, calling him a hurdle in the way of development of Mansehra and a representative of bureaucracy that wants to fail the local government system in the province.

Speaking on occasion, Tehsil Nazim Khurram Khan asked AC to approve all 800 schemes submitted before him for the technical sanction and administrative approval as those schemes were finalised before Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government issued guidelines.
