PESHAWAR: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) claimed to have arrested three facilitators of militants in Mardan district.A press release issued here Friday said that the three accused facilitated a suicide bomber Abdullah. They said the militant Abdullah was killed by the police in Mardan on May 30 last. Around 14 persons, including a girl child, had been injured after an explosion caused by a suicide vest.
The release said the DNA test of the suicide attacker was carried out to identify the militant. It said that the suicide attacker was identified as Abdullah alias Ghazi, son of Mustafa Shah, and resident of Akbar Pura in the DNA report. It said the police arrested the militant facilitators Mustafa Shah, Ayaz and Mansoor in a raid.
