SAHIWAL: As many as five people lost their lives in a tragic accident when a car collided with a trailer on Friday.
According to details, the deceased persons belonged to the same family and were killed in the accident which took place at G.T.Road. Details from the police disclosed that a family were traveling in the car and were on their way from Lahore to Multan. Due to high speed, the vehicle spun out of control in Sahiwal and went underneath the trailer that was ahead of the car.
Five persons in the car died on the spot whereas three were injured and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Among the deceased are a man, a woman and three children.
Police transferred both the injured and the dead to the hospital.
