In a Maine teacher's long con, one unsealed Twinkie has officially remained untouched and perfectly intact for the past 40 years.

According to ABC News, George Stevens Academy's former Chemistry teacher Roger Bennatti began the experiment (https://t.co/NeOaBYThAv) with a curious group of students during a class he taught in 1976.
When Bennatti left the school in 2005, he gave the holy Twinkie to Dean of Students Libby Rosemeier — who, adorably, was in the chemistry class where Bennatti started the experiment. Read more...
