ISLAMABAD: Abdul Qadir Memon, a senior ******r of Pakistan Customs has joined as new consul general at the Consulate General of Pakistan for Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR).
Consul General Qadir Memon carries a vast experience in trade development, trade policy framework and revenue collection, said a message received here on Monday.Prior to his joining the Mission, Qadir Memon had been working as Chief Customs at the Federal Board of Revenue, Islamabad.
He had also been involved in projects to enhance Pakistan’s capacity in trade development as well as in framing trade agreements for Pakistan with other countries.Besides doing masters in Business Administration from Pakistan Institute of Management, Karachi, he had also done his masters in Public Policy from Graduate Research Institute for Policy Studies, Tokyo. He is also Hubert H. Humphrey Fellow 2004 USA.
