LOS ANGELES — Potterheads got to experience some*magic at VidCon on Wednesday.
In a special event *— one that seemed more fitting for Comic-Con than a digital video conference — Warner Bros. brought together a handful of YouTube creators from across the globe to talk all things Fantastic Beasts.
The event quickly filled up, with the Warner Bros. fan page with tickets closing just a short amount of time after going live. However, the panel was live streamed on both YouTube and Facebook. At its peak, over 30,000 people tuned in.
It's the first time the Hollywood studio has come to VidCon, an event geared toward younger fans who flock to the Anaheim Convention Center every year to see their favorite digital stars.* Read more...
