Lovely Parisians send postcards to persuade Britain to stay in the EU

A group of French citizens from Paris have hopped on the Eurostar and handed out dozens of handwritten postcards across Europe to dissuade British people from voting Brexit.*
The good-willed French were supposed to also give out freshly-baked croissants (Yummy!) to passer-by at London's Kings Cross station, but an arcane EU British electoral rule forbids giving out food which could "corruptly influence any voter" (yes, really (http://www.electoralcommission.org.uk/__data/assets/pdf_file/0005/149729/List-of-electoral-offences.pdf)).
Operation Croissant, created by **velist*Rosa Rankin-Gee,*went ahead anyway and the Parisians, led by Imogen Roy and*Muysers Marie-Cybèle,*decided to donate all the food to a homeless charity instead.
