I liked the suggestion of “An illustration of why details matter” but could **t stop thinking about the details, so I gave up on that drawing.
“Draw us a picture of truth. **t in the abstract.” seemed like even more of challenge. If I could successfully draw “truth” in a single drawing with robots and overemotional stick figures I would need to start reevaluating my life.
I liked the other suggestions as well, but this seemed like a good place to start.
Feel free to suggest titles or ideas for the next drawing. I think I would like to use these drawings to construct a simple story. About a year ago at The Morning News I did the story Have Faith in Duck (http://www.themorningnews.org/post/have-faith-in-duck). It was constructed over two months, with the drawings and story based on suggestions by the readers.
Let’s try to improve on that idea.
