House burgled

PAKPATTAN: A house was burgled on Wednesday. Thieves entered the house of Shaukat Ali of Green Town, Pakpattan, and took away an LCD and a costly cell phone. Police have registered case.

NARCOTICS RECOVERED: Police Wednesday arrested the accused and recovered narcotics from their possession.

Police arrested accused Muhammad Abbas with 2,640 gram charas and Rs 430 stake money, accused Ghulam Rasool of Chak Mochipura with 2,120 gram charas and Rs 430 stake money, and accused Ambeern Bibi of Chak 16/SP with 1,020 gram charas.

Police have registered cases.

FAKE CHEQUE: Police booked a woman on charges of issuing a fake cheque.

Reportedly, accused Shazia Bibi had gotten Rs 1,800,000 from Shalla Riaz of Pakpattan and given him a cheque that bounced.

Police have registered case.

EXCESSIVE OUTAGES: Locals are facing severe problems owing to excessive power loadshedding more than 18 hours in the city and adjoining areas.

They demanded authorities concerned take **tice of the issue.

GIRL FOUND: City police Wednesday found a 14-year-old girl Rukhsana Bibi fainted at the shrine of Hazrat Baba Fareed.

The police took her to the DHQ Hospital where she regained her senses. Police are investigating.
