As a self-contained VR headset, Android VR won't need a smartphone to power it (like headsets like the Samsung Gear VR (http://cms.mashable.com/mashable.com/category/gear-vr?utm_campaign=&utm_context=textlink&utm_medium=rss&utm_source=)) or a powerful PC (Oculus Rift (http://cms.mashable.com/mashable.com/category/oculus-rift?utm_campaign=&utm_context=textlink&utm_medium=rss&utm_source=) and HTC Vive (http://cms.mashable.com/mashable.com/category/htc-vive?utm_campaign=&utm_context=textlink&utm_medium=rss&utm_source=)).
According to Rojas, Android VR will supposedly offer a better VR experience than the Gear VR, but **t quite as advanced as the Oculus Rift or Vive. Read more... (http://mashable.com/2016/05/13/google-android-vr-headset/)
