ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians (PPPP) on Friday submitted a calling attention **tice in the National Assembly Secretariat on the recent incidence of human rights violation in Abbottabad where a girl was burnt to death after a jirga’s verdict.
PPP legislators Dr Nafisa Shah, Dr Shazia Sobia, Dr Azra Fazal Pechuho, Mrs Shahida Rehmani and Ms Mussart Rafique Mahesar submitted the calling attention **tice in the National Assembly Secretariat regarding the recent inhuman Amber case in Abbottabad.
Through the **tice, the PPP Parliamentarians drew the attention of the minister of law and justice and Human Rights towards the recent incidence of human rights violation in Abbottabad where a girl was burnt to death after a jirga’s verdict.
The calling attention **tice stated that the incidence has shaken the whole nation and has exposed the grim realities regarding the poor state of law and justice in the country. The PPP Parliamentarians, though their calling attention, stated that this barbaric incidence **t only reveals the grave condition of human rights and the menace of ho**ur killing prevalent in the country but also throws light on our poor legal system as well which has failed to give protection to its citizens. “This is a very serious matter and needs immediate attention of the House,” the calling attention **tice stated.
