******* 10 is making ******* 8 look even more like a disaster.
Almost two years after ******* 8 launched in late 2012, Microsoft could only report 200 million installs (https://www.theguardian.com/tech**logy/2014/feb/14/*******-8-hits-200m-licences-par-vista) (or licenses). Today, Microsoft an**unced that less than a year after shipping ******* 10 to consumers and OEMs, the operating system is installed on 300 million devices. That's 30 million more than what Microsoft reported at its Build Developer Conference (http://mashable.com/2016/03/30/microsoft-build-2016-updates/) in March.

Starting this summer, though, that pace of growth could slow down a bit as Microsoft ends its first-ever free-upgrade offer, which allowed ******* 7 and 8.1 system owners to install ******* 10 for free. After July 29, you'll have to pay $119 for ******* 10 Home. Read more... (http://mashable.com/2016/05/05/*******-10-300-million-devices/)
