Substandard meat recovered

NANKANA SAHIB: Police arrested a man and recovered substandard meat from him on Tuesday.
Reportedly, Ramazan was moving in a vehicle when policemen of Wazirpur police post intercepted him and recovered 250kg unhygienic meat from the vehicle.
The accused told the police that he was carrying the meat to Lahore and was dealing in meat business since long.
DPO CHAIRS MEETING: Nankana DPO Rana Ayyaz Saleem Tuesday chaired a meeting regarding law and order and the National Action Plan.
Addressing the meeting, he said lives of the people would be protected on priority.
MNA Dr Shezra Mansib Ali, MPA Rana Muhammad Arshad, MPA Tariq Bajwa, MPA Rana Jamil Hasan and MPA Malik Zulqarnain Dogar also attended the meeting.
