Disney theme parks an**unced a ban on selfie sticks (http://mashable.com/2015/06/26/disney-selfie-stick-ban/?utm_campaign=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial&utm_cid=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial)*last summer in the interest of safety, because obviously taking a metal stick on a fast-moving ride is **t a good idea.

But apparently that's **t obvious to everyone, which is how one rider shut down a roller coaster at Disney California Adventure on Monday.

Park officials shut down California Screamin' and evacuated all the riders after they saw a rider trying to use such a stick, KTLA (http://ktla.com/2016/05/02/roller-coaster-at-disney-california-adventure-shut-down-evacuated-over-selfie-stick/)*reported.
