So, the title of Sunday's episode, "Verdict," of The Good Wife was a lie. The verdict in Peter's trial isn't an**unced in the episode. In fact, "Verdict" ends on a cliffhanger right as the jury comes back with its decisions. But that's fine because this was an emotionally packed episode that dug into some of the show's most important relationships

"Verdict" is all about the trial of Peter Florrick — to a certain extent. The court happenings mostly become background **ise because that's **t the real focus of the episode. That's immediately clear from the first shot of the episode, which opens on Alicia's face as she's sitting in court.
