The U.S. has started "dropping cyberbombs" on ISIS computer networks, according to a recent*New York Times (http://www.nytimes.com/2016/04/25/us/politics/us-directs-cyber*******-at-isis-for-first-time.html?_r=2)*report.

The term "cyberbomb" sounds like something out of a **vel, and it's a new tool in the fight against ISIS. In fact, the Obama administration's mere mention of using cyberattacks runs counter to years of **t officially admitting to offensive cyber tactics. But the term really conveys complex, ongoing electronic-based operations rather than boom-you're-dead malware attacks.

What are 'cyberbombs'?

The term "cyberbomb," coined by Deputy Secretary of Defense Robert Work, brings up visions of ******s infecting ISIS computers and phones, making screens to go black and causing panic amongst the ranks of the organization.
