Valuables taken away

PAKPATTAN: Locals were deprived of cash and valuables in different areas on Wednesday.
Eight thieves entered the house of Tauqeer Ahmed of **sheer Bodlla when all family members of Tauqeer were **t at home and stole gold ornaments and other valuables worth Rs 310,000.
Some 55 thieves entered the rice mills of Ijaz Ahmad of Chak 57/EB and stole two batteries and wires worth Rs 475,000.
Five thieves including accused Muhammad Ramazan stole forest department’s wood worth Rs 137,494 from Chak 35/SP. Police have registered cases.
BOOKED: Police Wednesday booked three people on charges of **t returning a car to its owner.
Reportedly, accused Tariq and his two friends hired a car (LEB-5471) from Riaz Ahmad of Inamabad, Pakpattan for two days but did **t return the car.
Police have registered a case.
FAKE CHEQUE: Police Wednesday booked a man on charges of issuing fake cheque.
Reportedly, accused Muhammad Ameer had gotten Rs 175,400 loan from Muhammad Sarfaraz of Pakpattan and issued him a cheque that bounced.
Police have registered a case.
POWER THEFT: Police Wednesday booked eight accused on charges of stealing electricity.
On the report of the SDO Wapda, police booked accused Muhammad Iqbal of Pir Ghani and seven others.
