Seven injured as gas cylinder explodes

VEHARI: Seven people were injured when a gas cylinder exploded in a house at Sir Hind Colony on Wednesday.
Reportedly, the family of trader Sheikh Yaqoob had gone to a bazaar, leaving gas supply on. After return from the bazaar, the gas cylinder exploded as Yaqoob’s wife tried to lit the burner and the fire engulfed the entire house. However, the family members were rescued by residents of the area. The injured are Ayesha, Anas, Muhammad Bilal, Maryam, Anam, Khadeja and Nasreen.
