A new NASA video lets you see what it's like to be a rover exploring a vast crater on Mars.*

The 360-degree video shows a pa**rama taken during the after**on of April 4 on the red planet from the perspective of NASA's Curiosity rover, a car-sized spacecraft that has been piecing together Mars' history from the Gale Crater since the rover landed in 2012.*

In this pa**rama, Mars looks strangely Earth-like with its grey-blue sky and mountai**us terrain.*
