How do you improve a smartphone camera (http://mashable.com/2015/12/16/best-smartphone-camera-2015/#sIMfu_H0ikqZ?utm_campaign=&utm_context=textlink&utm_medium=rss&utm_source=)? The easiest way would be to use a faster lens and larger sensor. But with today's super slim smartphones, you can't just slap a huge camera module on the back — unless you want it to have an unsightly bulge.
One solution seems to be the trend in 2016: multiple cameras. That, at least, is how several smartphone heavyweights, including LG (https://hameed.nwar.uk/vb/mashable.com/category/lg?utm_campaign=&utm_context=textlink&utm_medium=rss&utm_source=) and Huawei (https://hameed.nwar.uk/vb/mashable.com/category/huawei?utm_campaign=&utm_context=textlink&utm_medium=rss&utm_source=), are tackling the matter. And with rumors that Apple's iPhone 7 might come with two rear-facing cameras (http://mashable.com/2016/01/27/iphone-7-plus-two-rear-cameras/), it's a good time to look evaluate if two cameras are better than one.
