Ad shows why our relationship with dogs is more special than you think

It's hardly a surprise that dogs can help humans feel happier.
But could your heart be in sync with your canine companion? Perhaps so, if this touching advertisement by dog food manufacturer Pedigree is to be believed. The company monitored the heart rates of three dogs and their humans, and found they began to mirror each other when in close proximity. We're **t saying it's science, just that it's cute.
Still, it would be interesting to see the heart rates of the owners when they find their dogs have ripped up all their pillows. They would be wildly out of sync then — just a guess.*
