Marriott has new rewards offerings (and you don't need a ton of points)

Marriott wants to make its rewards program appealing to all 60 million of its members — **t just the road warriors who have racked up piles of points.
The hotel company has been revamping offerings, adding three new benefits on Tuesday that*include an "experiences marketplace" in which guests can access curated events, as well as an Elite Concierge Service and guaranteed late checkout for the most loyal members.

The new benefits follow last week's implementation of "member rates (http://www.marriott.com/default.mi?nck=136860571&ck=1215290&lk=1000165548)": Marriott (http://mashable.com/category/marriott/?utm_campaign=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial&utm_cid=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial) is joining other large hotel chains, including Hyatt (http://mashable.com/category/hyatt/?utm_campaign=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial&utm_cid=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial) and Hilton (http://mashable.com/category/hilton/?utm_campaign=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial&utm_cid=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial), in offering the lowest room rates to guests who book directly on the hotels' websites.
