Famed activist and Baltimore mayoral candidate DeRay Mckesson is **t going to be the city's 50th mayor —*unless he works a political miracle.

This is **t a bold statement. Mckesson has yet to register even 1% (http://www.baltimoresun.com/news/maryland/baltimore-city/2016-mayor-race/bs-md-ci-april-poll-20160406-story.html) in the polls, local activists have turned out to be more political enemies than allies, and The New York Times*Magazine*recently ran an article with a two sentence headline, the first of which read, "DeRay Mckesson Won't Be Elected Mayor of Baltimore (http://www.nytimes.com/2016/04/11/magazine/deray-mckessonwont-be-elected-mayor-of-baltimore-so-why-is-he-running.html?_r=0)."
