One of the attackers who blew himself up at Brussels Airport on March 22 once worked as a cleaner at the European Parliament in the heart of the city, a spokesperson said on Wednesday, Reuters reports.

"One of the perpetrators of the Brussels terrorist attacks worked for a period of one month for a cleaning company which was contracted by the European Parliament at the time," spokesman Jaume Duch Guillot said in a statement provided to the news agency (http://www.reuters.com/article/us-belgium-blast-eu-parliament-idUSKCN0X326P).
