The update reflects a shift in the Associated Press Stylebook (http://mashable.com/category/ap-stylebook/?utm_campaign=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial&utm_cid=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial), the writing bible for many journalists in the U.S.
