Traditional market in Jerusalem turns into portrait gallery after dark

A 22-year-old native Londoner has transformed one of Jerusalem's main markets into an artistic attraction that has been dubbed "The Shuk Gallery."
Solomon Souza has used the Mahane Yehuda Market - often referred to as “The Shuk” - to showcase colorful spray painted portraits. He uses the closed shutters of the area's shops as his canvas. The area has developed a thriving nightlife scene for tourists and locals alike

Souza immigrated to Israel a few years ago and has created over 150 mural works that feature famous Jewish figures. According to the Washington Post (https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/two-guys-are-turning-an-old-jerusalem-market-into-a-portrait-gallery-of-famous-jews/2016/02/26/85b2faea-db3d-11e5-8210-f0bd8de915f6_story.html), Souza always asks permission from the owners of the shops before painting.
