School creates 'buddy bench' for kids who need someone to play with at reccess

A Canadian school has a brilliant new plan to make recess fun for everyone.
Kids who don't have the same recess period as their best friends can have a hard time finding new people to play with. So Willowgrove School (https://www.spsd.sk.ca/school/willowgrove/Pages/default.aspx) created the Buddy Bench, a bench where kids can sit if they need a new friend.
So far, it seems to be working. One kid reported that he only had to wait on the bench for "a minute" before he was invited to play.
