New commercial reminds you to take a vacation already, loser

A new ad touting Mexico as a dream destination takes a slightly more emotional, less confrontational approach, but its message is clear: workaholics are missing all the good stuff in life.
The short film, called “Doppelganger Tourists,” centers on two **se-to-the-grindstone workers named Ann and Mike who, like more than 40% of Americans, didn’t take a single vacation day last year.
The ad, created by Leo Burnett’s multicultural agency Lapiz, shows them what it would be like to scuba dive, ride horses and frolic in the Mexican sun. To make things more real, Lapiz executives found two actors who look nearly identical to Ann and Mike to play the roles of doppelganger tourists. Read more...
