Australian startup Ni**x, which began trials in 2015 (http://mashable.com/2015/07/22/drones-australia-pests/), is one of a number of local companies (http://www.acuo.org.au/find-a-certified-uav-operator/) that has a business plan relying on the services of professional drone pilots. Ni**x, in particular, plans to hire out its unmanned aerial systems (UAS) to assist with invasive pest detection and agricultural mapping, among other tasks.*
