Dog loses eye after contract civic worker jabs it with stick

A 30-year-old contractual civic worker was arrested for allegedly assaulting a stray dog and puncturing its right eye in Kandivli. The canine has been admitted to an animal hospital. Doctors said that its eye could **t be saved.
