BRUSSELS —*On Thursday after**on, in the Molenbeek neighborhood of Brussels, women in hijabs greeted each other in Arabic or French as they made their way through a crowded market,*picking through fresh fruit and goods from the dozens of small stands that line the community’s narrow streets.*
But steps away, the Comte de Flanders metro station that **rmally serves the neighborhood was closed, sealed by a metal barrier — a constant reminder of the bombings that claimed the lives of 34 people and injured hundreds of others earlier in the week.
