Drones and airplanes might **t be as dangerous a mix as everyone thinks.
At least that's the conclusion George Mason University researchers made after studying the Federal Aviation Administration’s wildlife strike database. More specifically, they looked at bird-strike data.
Largely flown by amateurs, consumer drones are increasingly inching into airplane territory.
