Emma Watson recalls up-skirt photos taken of her as she turned 18

LONDON — Emma Watson has been speaking about how her transition into adulthood was dealt with very differently by the media, when compared with her male Harry Potter co-stars.
At an event in New York this week marking the launch of HeForShe Arts Week with Forest Whitaker, Watson, 25, explains that as she was coming out of her 18th birthday party, tabloid photographers lay down on the pavement to take photos up her skirt. The photos were then published the next day in the British tabloid press.
