Carry out repairs or face criminal action, HC tells builders

In a shot in the arm for the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation?s action against Mumbai?s dilapidated buildings, the Bombay high court has held that criminal proceedings can be initiated against owners of such structures for failing to comply with the civic body?s directive to carry out repairs.
