GRP returns Rs 22L valuables left behind in locals this year

Forgetful Mumbaikars made more than 2,000 calls to the GRP?s statewide helpline in the first two months of this year, seeking help for retrieving their bags accidentally left behind on railway premises. Maximum calls were from Mumbai. Personnel manning the helpline co-ordinated with police station staff to trace and return valuables worth over Rs 22 lakh to commuters.
