Even Scott Kelly — a NASA astronaut who just returned to Earth after 340 days on the International Space Station — is on board with augmented reality.

Kelly tested out the Microsoft HoloLens, an augmented reality (http://mashable.com/category/augmented-reality/?utm_campaign=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial&utm_cid=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial) device, on the Space Station, and he seems pretty into it.

"I think that virtual reality has a lot of potential," Kelly said during a press conference Friday.
