The "resignation" of the head of Egypt's Music Syndicate (http://www.albawaba.com/entertainment/hani-shaker-has-big-plans-artists-new-chariman-musicians-syndicate-725778), Hany Shaker, sparked confusion among supporters of the well-k**wn singer.
Last week, Shaker came to limelight with his comments related to a metal concert that took place in Sherazade (http://english.ahram.org.eg/News/188547.aspx), a popular club in downtown Cairo, on 19 February.
