Thousands pay respects to slain Russian opposition leader Boris Nemtsov in solemn march

Several thousand people on Saturday solemnly marched through Moscow in memory of Russian opposition leader and former deputy prime minister Boris Nemtsov to mark the first anniversary of his killing one year ago.
Nemtsov, a fierce opponent of Russian President Vladimir Putin, was gunned down while walking across a bridge within view of the Kremlin just before midnight on Feb. 27, 2015. ** one has been brought to justice in the brazen attack that shook the country and especially the Russian opposition, which continues to live under threat of attack.
