The latest Silicon Valley heavyweight to pick a side in Apple and the FBI's war of words is Bill Gates, and in a surprising turn, he's backing the law.
The Microsoft founder pushed back on Apple CEO Tim Cook's claim the case would set a troubling legal precedent, he told the Financial Times (http://www.ft.com/intl/cms/s/0/3559f46e-d9c5-11e5-98fd-06d75973fe09.html#axzz40xn7r2CS). "This is a specific case where the government is asking for access to information. They are **t asking for some general thing, they are asking for a particular case," he said.
