BD Vacutainer UltraTouch Push Button Blood Collection Set Cleared in U.S. and Europe

The product*recently received both FDA clearance and CE marking to pave the way for the current an**uncement.
The new collection set was designed to improve the experience of patients undergoing blood draws thanks to the firm’s PentaPoint Comfort needle that has five bevels that help result in less puncture pain.
The needle also features so-called RightGauge tech**logy that provides for a wider inner needle lumen while having*the same outer diameter as competing needles. This lets clinicians use the smallest needle possible while maintaining proper blood flow and **t damaging the cells in the sample.
