The Spanish Royals Make a Special Trip to Washington DC

On Tuesday, they packed in a busy schedule, touring George Washington's estate at Mount Ver**n and then visiting the White House. King Felipe VI met with President Barack Obama while Queen Letizia and First Lady Michelle Obama had tea (http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/2015/09/15/spain-queen-letizia-king-felipe-obama-white-house/72299974/) and spent time in the White House Kitchen Garden. The visiting couple made yet a**ther appearance later in the day when they met with the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee on Capitol Hill. Their four-day stay in the US will continue with a trip to Miami and St. Augustine, FL, to celebrate the 450th birthday of the founding of St. Augustine.
