The Libertines brought that familiar blend in to Anthems for Doomed Youth, doing what they did best just doing it 11 years later. This album felt like magnificent continuity in to what Up the Bracket and The Libertines established all those years ago. While age may have **t been the best remedy for Barat and Doherty's vocals, their chemistry is still palpable and just there's **thing better out there. Will this be remembered as a classic like The Libertines? Probably **t. But we're damn lucky to have this album.
