Charity commissioner appeals to Ganpati mandals in Maharashtra to slash expenditure i

The charity commissioner has made an unusual appeal to Ganpati mandals in the state. Each mandal has been asked to save on unnecessary expenses and set aside at least Rs 5,000 to be donated to drought-hit people in the state. Many mandals have promised to give much more.
