Will increase spending on research in universities from 0.5% to 3: Tawde

To encourage in**vation and research activities in public universities and affiliated colleges in the state, the government will increase the spending on research from the current 0.1% to up to 3% soon, said higher and technical education minister Vi**d Tawde on Tuesday.
